also don't think I saw Townsends Fish House and Tavern mentioned. I used to go there every Friday night after eating a delicious cuban dinner around the corner at a place on Orange Avenue. It went as far as cable systems in Tampa and Orlando. I read this all the way through and so many wonderful memories were revived and I learned a great deal about the background of places I hadn't been to but knew of and always wondered what they were!! Americana Racket Club: quite the place to go in late 70's.
