Kosala is a 1963 novel in the Marathi language by author Bhalchandra Nemade.

It narrates the journey of a young man, Pandurang Sangvikar and his friends through his college years.

The AMERICAN DREAM is a 30 min animated film that shows you, The American dream Film.

I would beg to differ but i did not like KOSALA at all…!

Also one small incident which was aptly described was the flow of thoughts when protagonist couldnt sleep. I can completely identify with the person who is out of his mind or who is euphoric or is under depression.

Still if you read that diary, you will not be able to make sense of many entries in his diary, barring a few.

I just could not digest the fact that this novel is so popular.

I cannot stop myself from saying that this is truly a mind-f*****g sort of a book, where you will unnecessarily get the feeling…”why the heck am i reading this book…”I knew that this book is supposedly of a person who has described his hostel years in a non-glamorous and pathetic manner.

There are many paragraphs in this book which after you read will make absolutely no sense at all.

He also said that its ridiculous and any person under the sun cannot derive any meaning out of the same.

I am not that kind of a hypocrite who will just praise something because that has been praised by many others. There are many such mind-f*****g incidents which will literally get way above your head and you will then wonder why author has mentioned that and what’s the significance of the same in this context.

I was completely aware that i would not get a nice feeling after reading this. With all this when i started reading this book; i found it to be an utterly hopeless book with no logical representation.

I mean i have read many disgusting, un-glamorous, straight to the point novels/books but all that i read had some logic, some flow so that i could connect/bind everything very well.

He uses a Marathi dialect spoken in rural Maharashtra.
